In Ireland, Irish breakfast tea is not known as breakfast tea or as Irish tea. It is simply known as tea and the Irish drink it in the morning, the afternoon, and with dinner. Tea companies, even those based in Ireland, market Irish breakfast tea mostly outside of Ireland. Based on the way the type of tea the Irish traditionally drink, it is an exceptionally strong tea suitable for morning.

The Irish drink their tea very strong, even claiming that the spoon with stand up in it. When tea first came to Ireland, quality tea was only available to those who were financially and socially well off. When tea became available to the common Irishman, it was of very poor quality and not flavorful. To increase flavor, Irish people brewed it strong and added milk to cut the increased bitterness.

With its lace curtains, elaborate bone china, and reproduced Victorian wallpaper, the Camellia Tea Room resembles a piece of antiquity. Located in historic downtown Benicia, the establishment prides itself on ivory table clothes and fresh flowers on each table. It is the ideal setting to realize the fantasy of the traditional afternoon tea for one person or a group. They serve lunch in addition to afternoon tea and all their food is made fresh daily in their kitchen.

The Camellia Tea Room offers a traditional tea of scones with jam and Devon cream, finger sandwiches, and sweets. They also serve a Savory Tea that includes an assortment of finger sandwiches along with the customer’s choice of tea. Their Cream Tea consists of scones, jam, and Devon cream, again with a choice of tea. Patrons can also choose to have the Sweet Tea, which is simply tea served with an assortment of sweets.

Review Fresh & Easy Decaffeinated Chocolate Flavored Black Tea

Fresh & Easy is a small chain of grocery stores that recently emerged in the western United States. They are prices are lower because of features such as having customers bag their own groceries. Another price-cutting tool is that they have their own house brand products, including their own coffees and teas. Their teas are blended specifically for the Fresh & Easy markets and sold nowhere else.

Unfortunately, they only carry two types of house brand loose tea, Silver Needles white tea and Dragonwell green tea. The rest of their house brand tea comes in teabags, packaged in boxes of twenty teabags. The boxes have brewing instructions on one side panel, but leave out the amount of water needed per teabag. The standard volume for a teacup is six fluid ounces, but some teas recommend eight, which the instructions should specify.
