A Coffee Shop you Might Want to Avoid
There are various reasons that a person might choose to patronize a particular coffee shop. For some of us, it’s strictly a matter of convenience, a place we go and grab a cup just because it’s nearby. Maybe it’s on the way to work and it’s just easier to stop by than to make it at home. Convenience can be a big motivation in a world that seems to be turning faster every day.
Sometimes it’s the ambience within the coffeehouse that keeps us coming back every day. The furnishings could be anything from colonial to contemporary, but the feel they lend to the room is tangible. Sunlight pouring through large windows will create an entirely different environment than candles in the center of the tables. A coffeehouse can easily be one of these by day and the other by evening.
The music played in a coffee shop can play a big part in a person’s choice as well. Some coffeehouses play slow, easy jazz that inspires relaxation while others might present a bluesy, dreamy soundtrack. A coffeehouse that plays standards by Sinatra and Dean Martin might attract an older crowd. Others who cater to a younger crowd might even play a little punk rock now and then.
Of course, a person might choose a coffee shop because he or she really liked the coffee there. It might seem coffee is just coffee, but that depends on what coffee is used and how well it’s prepared. There are people who shun one particular coffee chain because the coffee tastes “burnt”, while others flock to it. Some chains their unique coffee drinks that keep patrons returning to their stores.
Sometimes the good service keeps a customer coming back to a particular coffeehouse. If the baristas are fast, clean, and friendly, you can start to feel as though they’re your friends. It’s particularly nice if they remember you and your favorite coffee drink, even if you don’t go there every day. But wherever you go, you don’t want to run into the baristas in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixI2mera_a4
